Overview

Bac Ha trekking tour is easy but you will have more experience about Bac Ha people and nature around. One night stay in Tay tribe family house that warmly welcome travelers via the dinner. Two days are enough to know Bac Ha for travelers whose has short holiday in Vietnam.

Route: Bac Ha, Ban Pho, Lau Thi Ngai, Thai Giang Pho, Na Lo, Na Hoi

Day 1: Bac Ha – Ban Pho – Thai Giang Pho – Na Lo.
Day 2: Na Lo – Na Hoi – Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Hanoi

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Lao Cai - Bac Ha – Lau Thi Ngai – Thai Giang Pho – Na Lo

There a bus will pickup you from Lao Cai to Bac Ha. You may have breakfast in Bac Ha, the repack your bag ready for trekking.

Start your trek from Bac Ha. Trek up hills to Lau Thi Ngai – Thai Giang Pho area to see the view at beautiful valleys around Bac Ha town. Stop at local house to have picnic lunch. spend night in family of Tay ethnic group in Na Lo village.

Day 2 :
Carthorse -> Trekking to Na Hoi - Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Hanoi

The carthorse will transfer you about 7km from the home stay to the point where you can start trek up hill to Ngai Thau then down to Na Hoi to come in view at beautiful landscapes and happy to discover colorful dresses of local ethnic minority. Have lunch on the top of the mountain. Come back to Bac Ha in the afternoon. Repacks then get on the bus to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi, end tour.
